Patented AutoWake Technology From Supra & Moomba
We’ve gotten a lot of questions about what we think is one of Supra & Moomba’s top features – AutoWake. So here’s an overview.
Almost every new surf boat features a type of surf system that helps create the “perfect” wave. In 2017, Skier’s Choice introduced their revolutionary AutoWake technology to help create frustration free wakes and waves and it now comes standard on all 2019 Supra & Moomba models. This technology works with the Flow & Swell Surf Systems to create easy, repeatable, and customizable rides for every level of surfer. Think of it as Autopilot for your boat – no more moving people around, monitoring speed, adjusting ballast etc. Just push one button and let the boat do the work for you.
AutoWake consists of 4 patented systems that work together to automatically and continuously manage the position of your hull. It measures, senses, and reacts to every variable that impacts the position of your hull, such as the amount of weight in your boat, and the seating locations of your guests. Here’s how it works:
Pitch: The system measures the pitch of your boat against your desired wake or wave setting and adjusts accordingly.
Roll: Passengers inside your boat affect the roll of the hull. AutoWake continuously measures the onboard weight distribution and adjusts ballast accordingly.
Amplitude: AutoWake can sense how deep your hull is in the water, relative to your desired wake or wave setting, and the amplitude display will show you the actual wake or wave amplitude, as well as your predicated potential amplitude or displacement.

Standard in every Moomba is the Flow 2.0 Surf System. This system has contoured plates that tame and control the water off the hull for maximum push and rideability. It allows for clean lips and adjustable shape that can be adjusted by the driver and moved from side to side with ease.
New for 2019 is the introduction of the Flow 3.0 Surf System. This system is only available in the 2019 Craz Pro, which is also new for 2019. It has an additional actuator and plate that allows for faster side to side transfers.
The Supra Swell Surf System delivers tall waves with long pockets and optimal push that are consistent on both sides. Perfect for riders who like to transfer from side to side. It includes the Supra SmartPlate which has multiple functions to adjust the length and shape of the wave to make it perfect for each individual rider.
